At Relish we take our wines seriously, especially me. I love tasting wine, researching wine, tracking down a gem of a bottle so you can enjoy it too. It’s a fine balance of quality and price. So when a wine passes all the tests, it makes it on our blackboard as an ‘Off the Trail’ wine special. Here’s a peek at what’s on their now and what’s to come. Yay! Amor-Bendall Reserve Chardonnay (Gisborne). A great ‘Gizzy-Shardy’ This wine has great colour, finesse and enough oak to give it some weight while maintaining a nice balance of fruit and acid. If you’re a Chardonnay fan, this one’s for you. There’s a power struggle between two Pinot Gris. There can be only one. Can you help me decide?
